Shows the battery level. Do not use when the level is LO in normal climates,
or below 50%
in freezing conditions.
In this Automatic mode, the vest will inflate immediately when going under water. This mode
emulates the typical auto inflating life vest, which inflates upon sinking into the water.
However, our product is immune to rain or heavy wave splashes.
In this submersion mode, the vest will inflate when
EITHER
the time trigger
or
depth trigger
is exceeded. Trigger timing does not start until submerged deeper than one meter. Use this
mode for protection from a deep fall into the water, for example from a ship, helicopter, or
parachute. If you sink too deep or for too long, the vest inflates.
In Scuba mode, the vest will inflate ONLY when trigger depth is exceeded—trigger time is
ignored. Typically used for shallow water re-breather operations where the user wants
protection from sinking to unsafe depths.
In Delay mode, the vest will inflate when the in-water trigger time is exceeded, even in water
shallower than 1 meter. Use this mode when temporary falling into the water can be
expected, and where self-rescue is preferred over immediate vest inflation, for example
crossing a river, swamp, or falling off a zodiac. In each case inflation is delayed allowing
you time to recover without unwanted inflation.
Set the trigger depth here in meters—maximum 100 meters. Hold down the set button to
advance numbers rapidly back to 0.
Set the trigger time here in minutes and seconds—maximum 9 minutes 59 seconds. Hold
down the set button to advance numbers rapidly back to 0.
Sets the
ON
light to on or off. By pressing the set button, you toggle between LOn (when the
green light blinks every 2 seconds informing the user the unit is on) and LOFF when the
green light is off for stealth operations. Note, even if the green blinking light is off, you can
press either the remote button, or the mode button on the actuator to tell if the unit is on.
