After today’s operation
The Printer has an internal clock which allows it to wash the print heads automatically, fl ushing some ink through
the print heads, which keeps the print heads in good condition. To ensure the Printer’s automatic maintenance
operation, after today’s operation keep your Printer on the conditions below.
1. Never turn the Printer off .
2. Keep the front cover closed.
3. Take up the media on the Printer, or unload the media from the Printer.
If you keep the media loaded on the Printer for a long time, the media may be wrinkled on the platen or the
media gripping trace may be left. To ensure the media in good condition, the operation below is recommended.
Especially after printing on Vinyl, be sure to unload it from the Printer. Note that Vinyl is wrinkled so frequently.
