DANGER! Risk of electric shock!
The
electrical installation may only be carried
out by a professional electrician taking
account of the current legal requirements
(VDE 100) as well as national and regional
requirements.
The enclosed installation instructions for
the supplied electrical units must be
observed.
Note:
The battery is not included in the
scope of delivery. Use only CR 2450 but-
ton cells!
Note: Operating the motor!
In the event of overheating caused by fre-
quent use, the thermal protection function
may switch the motor of the awning off. In
this case, you should wait approximately
20 minutes until you operate the awning
again. Otherwise there is a risk of lasting
damages for which no guarantee can be
made. This thermal protection function
acts to ensure the long life of the awning.
CAUTION! Risk of damage to the
device!
If the end switches are not cor-
rectly set, there is a risk that the motor will
run hot. This may lead to motor damages
and, potentially, cause a risk of fire.
CAUTION! Risk of damage to the
device!
To set the motor using the upper
and lower setting screws please do not
use any electrically-powered screw fixing
devices (e.g. a cordless screwdriver); only
turn screws manually - even if that takes
some time. The setting is very sensitive.
Please only turn the screw a half-turn each
time and then check the corresponding
stop point. A full turn corresponds to
approximately 2.5 cm more/less travel. If
the setting screws are overtightened this
will cause a defect in the motor electronics
that we can detect and will result in refusal
of any warranty claims.
