XAMPLE

The basic process to use ScanDirect is the same for each application icon
on the ScanDirect Control Panel. This example shows how to use
ScanDirect to scan a a two-page item and send it as a fax.

To use ScanDirect to fax an item:

NOTE:

If you select the single page button on the Control Panel,

you won’t have to click the Finish button. PaperPort will start the
application as soon as the single page is scanned.

Click the fax icon
on the Control
Panel.

Click the button
you want for
scanning a single
page or multiple
pages.

This example
shows the button
for multiple pages
is selected.

Scan the first
page.

A scan preview
shows the page
being scanned.

Insert the next
page.

Click Finish after
scanning the last
page.

Your fax software
opens and you can
send the scanned
page(s).
