C H A P T E R 6

Using ScanDirect

ScanDirect is an application for scanning an item and sending it directly
to another application without opening PaperPort first. For example, if
you want to scan an item and fax it right away, use ScanDirect. As soon
as the item is scanned, your fax software starts and the item is ready to
send.

This chapter shows how to start ScanDirect, explains its features, and
uses an example that describes how to use the ScanDirect Control Panel.
