Appendix/Index

•

During installing the update files for software update, all functions are not
available.

•

When you cannot perform any operations because of the failure of the
software update, please take your terminal to DOCOMO-specified repair
office.

You can connect to the network with the terminal to update the software of
the terminal.

•

To use Software update, you need to set Google account. When a setting
screen of Google account appears, perform the settings and then operate
it (P.26).

From the Home screen, "Apps"

→

"About

"Software update"

→

"Update".

For the first using, entry of email address and password to register
Samsung account is required (P.26).

Set according to the onscreen instructions.

When software update is completed, the terminal restarts automatically.

You can update software of the terminal using "Samsung Kies" (P.75)
installed to a PC.

Start Samsung Kies on a PC.

Connect the terminal and a PC with USB cable.

After this step, follow the onscreen instructions of the PC.

Connecting to the Internet by the terminal to update

Information

•

To suspend installation temporarily after downloading software, tap
"Cancel" on the confirmation screen for continuing installation.
When you suspend installation, the installation can be started
immediately by tapping "Resume update".
