Configuration
MIDI Channel Assignment
To set the MIDI Transmit channel, follow this procedure:
1. Move all slide controls (sliders) to minimum.
2.
Hold both the GO and BACK buttons down at the same time, while pressing the MEMORY 1
button. The MEMORY 1 LED will flash.
3. The channel level LEDs will now display the current MIDI channel.
4. Select the new MIDI channel by tapping the PROGRAM button to activate the Program Mode,
and moving the corresponding channel slide control all the way up (to maximum).
5. Press the BLACKOUT button to return to normal operation.
The MIDI receive channel is selected in the same manner as the MIDI transmit channel just described,
except that MEMORY 2 is used instead of MEMORY 1.
Console and MIDI Configuration Mode Switches
The 16 channel level slide controls double as configuration mode switches. To access this mode,
perform the following steps:
1. Move all slide controls to minimum.
2.
Hold both the GO and BACK button down while pressing the MEMORY 3 button. The
MEMORY 3 LED will flash.
3. The channel level LEDs now display the current condition of all 16 Configuration Mode
switches.
4. Move all-slide controls with their corresponding LEDs on to maximum to preserve the state of
the switches. Slide controls with their LEDs on due to software must be moved to maximum to
preserve channel levels.
5. Press the PROGRAM button and move the slide controls to minimum or maximum (LEDs off or
on) as desired in order to activate the configuration changes as listed on the page following the
Configuration Mode step by step procedures. Move the FADE RATE control to set the Preheat
Level as Indicated by the channel level LEDs.
6. When finished with Configuration Mode tap the BLACKOUT button to save the new
configuration in memory.
