3 Call reset performed on a repeater SCS-CU-REP does not have an effect on
signaling on RCD (see operation description of the SCs in mute mode in 2.1 and 2.1.4).
To reset a call, act as follows:
– press
Mute button – on SCS-SPS-5 and SCS-SPS-10, Mute/Reset button – on
SCS-CU and SCS-CU-REP, or Mute/Reset button – on SCS-WP;
– press
Reset button on SCS-REF, SCS-CH, SCS-SC-DC, SCS-SH-DC.
Notes:
1 If RCD settings do not allow call reset, a user shall reset a call at the station
where it was initiated.
2 To reset a call on SCS-SC-DC call button, firstly, press Reset on the button
itself, and then, press Reset on the connected controller of call buttons.
Adjust backlight brightness of controls and LEDs depending on the SC:
– cycle of three brightness levels (
day, evening, night ) by brightness keys – on
SCS-CU, SCS-CU-REP;
– rotation of brightness dimmer clockwise – to increase brightness, and counter
clockwise – to decrease brightness on units SCS-WP and SCS-SPS.
Note – Set out brightness levels of three modes day, evening, night in the settings
of SCs.
Operation test of LEDs, controls backlight and sound signaling is carried out
depending on a type of RCD:
– press
Test button on SCS-SPS;
– press and hold button (min. 5 sec) on units SCS-CU and
SCS-CU-REP;
– press and hold
Mute/Reset button (min. 5 sec) on SCS-WP.
Test mode ensures operation test of buttons backlight, LEDs and built-in speaker.
After the test the unit returns to normal operation.
3.3.2 Call bell system with a momentary push-button
To make a call and switch on a signaling device, press and hold Call button on
SCS-BPC call button (momentary push-button); the call resets as soon as the call button
is released.
