SCS-1002 Hospital and refrigerator alarm system
Each area of the screen may operate in one of the following modes or their
combination:
– no call (normal);
– call receipt;
– no connection with a controller;
– faulty call buttons or faulty communication channels with a call button.
All modes (except normal) may operate in active or reset status:
– active status is followed by flashing light and intermittent sound signaling; when
connection with the controller or call button is lost, the screen displays: No connection or
Button failure . If the screen displays No connection , a red crossed out frame appears
around the area; if the screen shows Button failure – only red frame;
– reset status is followed with constant glowing of the area, and for the modes of
lost connection – the frame of the area remains highlighted with red.
Once the call is reset or connection with the controller or call button is restored,
corresponding area returns to the normal mode.
2.1.3 Reception and control device SCS-WP
Functionality of SCS-WP:
а) to control signals from call buttons connected directly to RCD;
b) to initiate alarm immediately after a call button sends a call;
c) to control only one direction (via four-wire communication line);
d) to reset the initiated call or provide temporary mute of call signaling depending
the selected operation mode of RCD;
e) an option to connect external alarm;
f) to provide alarm signaling if connection with a call button is faulty;
g) backlight of controls with brightness dimming.
