3.7 Saving a Trace to a PC
3.7.1 HR and MM Models
Selecting ‘COMPUTER’ at the ‘SAVE TO’ prompt will transfer
the trace to a computer using PCPLOT3 software. Please refer
to section 3.0 in the PCPLOT3 user’s guide for more information
on how to setup the PC software to receive the trace. The
screen will change to;

The OFL 100 actively measures the fiber while it is saving the
trace so you cannot remove the fiber. When the measurement
is complete the display will return to the Main Menu. Please
refer to section 3.0 in the PCPLOT3 user’s guide for more
information on how to setup the PC software to receive the
trace.
Note: PCPLOT3 must be set up to receive the trace before you
transfer it.
3.7.2 LR Models
Selecting ‘COMPUTER’ at the ‘SAVE TO’ prompt will transfer
the trace to a computer using PCPLOT3 software. See the
PCPLOT3 User’s Guide for more information. (Remember to
have the computer connected to the OFL 100 Serial Output
Port and on the correct Com Port.) The screen will change to;
