Selecting ‘NEXT’ from either the Send Records to PC or Clear
Storage Memory screens, will change the screen to the next
setup parameter.
The Set Test Wavelength option provides the user with a choice
between
single wavelength operation or dual-wavelength
operation. After selecting the desired wavelength with the right
arrow key,
select
‘NEXT’ to advance to the next setup parameter.
The Set Event Threshold option allows the user to select the
threshold level that the unit will use during operation. Press
the right arrow key below the dB value to toggle through the
thresholds. The available thresholds (shown here as
X.XX)
are 0.25, 0.50, 1.00, 2.00, and 4.00 dB.
Selecting ‘NEXT’ will change the screen to the next setup
parameter.
This screen allows the user to change the Index of Refraction
from 1.4000 to 1.6999. The fourth digit to the right of the decimal
point will be underscored. This number can be edited by
pressing the arrow key below the refraction value. The
underscored number will increment from 0 to 9 and back to 0.
When the digit is at the desired value, selecting ‘NEXT’ will
shift the underscore marker one digit to the left. This process
is repeated until all digits have been selected. NOTE: The tenth’s
place can only be a 4, 5, or 6, and the whole number “1” cannot
be edited. The same procedure must be followed for the next
screen involving the index at other wavelength.
