A.13 Directory Access Exception on Creating or
Synchronizing iFolders
If the system throws Directory Access exception error when the user create or synchronize iFolder,
check the owner and group of the directory in which the iFolder has been created. Ensure that you
have set that to
wwwrun:www .
A.14 Changing Permission to the Full Path Fails
If you cannot change the permission to the full path specified while configuring a multi-volume
setup, use the following procedure:
1 Run
chown -R < apache user >:< apache group > <Data/store/path/simias>
.
2 Change the permission that has already been set.
A.15 iManager Single Sign-on Fails
If you cannot log in to iManager by enabling single sign-on, consider the following actions:
Š You must enable the SSL for iFolder Web Admin server.
For more informations, see “Require Server SSL” on page 74 .
Š You must also provide the correct IP address instead of specifying localhost in the iFolder
server field in the iFolder launch console of the iManager.
A.16 List of Items Fails to Synchronize
If a list of items fails to synchronize, consider the following causes:
Š
You excluded the non-synchronized file types in the Web Admin console policy.
Š
The disk space restriction has been exceeded for the specified user or the specified iFolder.
Š
The user has the file or files open in an application. In this case, users must close the
application and re-sync the iFolder.
A.17 Access Permission Error While Logging in
Through Web Access
If the user cannot log in to iFolder Web Access, consider the following actions:
Š
Check the permission for the Apache user to the data store path of iFolder, and change
permissions as necessary.
Š
Run
chown -R < apache user >:< apache group > <Data/store/path/simias>
