FXS Voice Expansion Module (Dual and Quad Channel)
The FXS Voice Expansion Module (Dual and Quad Channel) supports the
following:
•
Short loop applications (up to 3,000 feet)
•
Loop Start
•
Ground Start (enables direct connectivity to PBX CO trunk lines)
•
25 Hz and 50 Hz ringing frequency
•
Dial Pulse and DTMF detection
The Passport 4460 can support two FXS modules.
Caution:
The Digital Voice Expansion Module is very sensitive to
damage from improper handling. Repetitive removing and installation
may cause damage to the module. Use an anti-static wrist strap when
handling any module. Failure to do so could result in damage to the
module. All removal and installation must be done by a qualified
technician.
