32 Chapter 1 The Passport 4460 Unit

Setting Up the Passport 4460

Once you have installed your Passport 4460 unit, you must do the following to set 
your unit up for operation:

Installing the PCMCIA Flash Module

Insert the PCMCIA Flash module into the Flash slot on the Passport 4460. This 
module is used for downloading system configuration software. For additional 
information on the PCMCIA Flash module, go to Chapter 4.

Installing Modules

In most cases your unit arrived with the modules installed. If this is so, proceed to 
the next phase of the setup. If not, refer to Chapters 2 and 3 for additional 
information.
