Modem Statistics
The 5399 RAC collects modem statistics at the beginning and end of the
call and maintains the statistics per modem on a per call basis. Modem
statistics are available anytime during a call.
When requesting modem statistics, the RAC software reads the most
current statistics from the DSP modem.For this reason, it is important to
determine the state of the modem. For example, the RAC 5399 will save
signal quality at the beginning and end of each call. Once the call is
terminated and a new call is initiated, the previous call’s modem statistics
are available from the call history table.

Performs a hardware reset on all internal
modems.
mdmCtlReadConfig
This reads the modem config file. If the
modem is handling an active call, its
configuration will not change until the call
has ended and a new call has been assigned
to that modem.
mdmCtlReset
Performs a hardware reset in the modem.
mdmCtlState
This command puts a modem back into
service (if busied out) or puts the modem
out of service (if available).
