Trouble Shooting the Air Distribution Fan(s)

1) Operation of cycling

limit controls.

(If tripped - determine

fault & reset)

2) Control panel burner

on 230V supply

3) External circuit

breakers / fuses

Check:

1) Wiring harness & plugs

2) Operation of vacuum

switch

3) Replace fan

Does the

fan run?

Check:

1) Vacuum switch tube

2) Air inlet & vent

for obstructions

3) Operation of vacuum

switch

4) Replace fan

Does the vacuum

switch pull in?

Check:

1) Ignition controller

2) Wiring harness

YES

Is the burner

sparking?

YES

Check:

1) Integrity of spark leads

2) Integrity of spark

electrode (assembly &

spark gap)

3) Ignition controller

Is the gas

valve open?

Check:

1) Ignition controller

2) Replace gas valve

Check:

1) Burner inlet pressure

2) Burner nozzle pressure

3) Gas valve & polarity

4) Ground

YES

operate normally,
