below programmed programs this must be checked for compliance with currently valid main-
tenance manuals of the battery manufacturer. If in doubt or in case of deviations the currently
valid maintenance manual of the battery manufacturer always applies.
For all programs the following restrictions apply:
Sealed lead batteries:
Minimum capacity:
2 Ah
Maximum capacity:
900 Ah
Minimum nominal voltage:
2 V
Maximam nominal voltage:
30 V
Nominal voltage to be dived by

Vented lead batteries:
Minimum capacity:
10 Ah
Maximum capacity:
900 Ah
Minimum nominal voltage:
2 V
Maximum nominal voltage:
30 V
Nominal voltage to be dived by
2
NiCd batteries:
Minimum capacity:
1 Ah
Maximum capacity:
230 Ah
Minimum number of cells:
1 (nominal voltage: 1.2 V)
Maximum number of cells:
24 (nominal voltage: 28.8 V)
Nominal voltage to be dived by

The UL60 can charge / discharge at maximum 60 A. If a battery is connected which usually requires a
higher current it will be charged / discharged with 60 A. The monitored times will be automatically ad-
justed by the program.
In case cables with temperature sensors are used the program shut down will take place under the
following conditions:
Temperature > 65°C
Temperature increase since program start for more than 40°C
