8. Practical Guide

The following are the most common symptoms of operation failures, their

probable causes and the precautions that should be taken by the user. If you

have any questions, consult your dealer or contact our technical assistance.

8.- FAULTS AND SOLUTIONS

The machine is getting clogged.

Probable cause

Solution

Excessive volume of gathered crop.

Turn off the tractor and turn the cardan

shaft on the machine rear in reverse,

expelling excess of crop.

Excessive traveling speed.

Reduce speed.

Incorrect quantity of rotor knives.

Install the correct quantity of rotor

knives.

Incorrect mounting of rotor knives.

Adjust the correct distribution of knives.

Dull rotor knives.

Sharpen the knives.

Dull rotor counter knife.

Turn over the counter knife or replace it.

Weak releasing of chopped crop by the chute.
