An example of an installation is illustrated below:
If 2 battery banks are connected, an external charger MUST be installed (the internal one cannot support
more than 2 battery stripes).
If 1 battery bank is connected with 2 stripes, an external charger MUST be installed (the internal one
cannot support more than 2 battery stripes).
If 1 battery bank is connected with 1 stripe, an external charger is RECOMMENDED to speed up charge
time.
The maximum number of battery banks that can be used is 2 units. This increases the backup time
normally offered by the UPS alone by 5 if the maximum number of stripes (2) are installed for each battery
bank.
Follow the instructions below before performing maintenance on the battery bank:

Turn the Breaker OFF (ID 4)

Disconnect any chargers (17NXGCAL00001 (72V) or 17NXGCAL00001 (48V))
