Installation Considerations without the HT-MSU
If you are using the iremoteTS to control the home theater system
via Ir control without the Niles hT-mSU, care in the system design
and source capabilities must be taken. The iremoteTS will issue Ir
control commands and sequences of Ir commands to control the
sources in the home theater. however, the iremoteTS must have
an unobstructed view to the sources. If any of the source Ir sensor
windows are hidden from the line of sight, they may only receive
partial commands and get out of sync.
Suggestions for best results:
1) The iremoteTS must be the only device controlling the home
theater sources
2) Sources should have separate power on and off commands
as well as unique codes for input and surround selection
