After the Getting Started steps are done (Connecting the Battery,
hooking Up the Charging Base, and Locating and Documenting
the mAC ID), the next step is to program the iremoteTS for use
with the IntelliControl ICS modular multiZone receiver.
Programming the iremoteTS is accomplished by connecting it
to an IntelliControl modular multiZone receiver for discovery,
and then configuring it as a part of the multiZone System using
IntelliFile 3 Configuration Software. on the IntelliFile 3 main
Screen, configuration is accomplished by clicking CrEATE NEW
under the mULTIZoNE CoNFIGUrATIoN section.
Connecting an iRemoteTS to an IntelliControl ICS
Modular MultiZone Receiver for Discovery
During the programming process, the iremoteTS is connected
to an IntelliControl ICS modular multiZone receiver with a
CAT-5 cable terminated with the T-568A wiring connection
(See
Figure 8, on Page 11
). one end of the CAT-5 cable is
connected to one of the IntelliControl ICS modular multiZone
receiver’s Communication & Control Switch rJ-45 ports, and
the other end to the iremoteTS’s rJ-45 connection port located
under the battery cover (See Figure 9 ). once the CAT-5 cable
is connected to the iremoteTS' rJ-45 port, the iremoteTS is put
into Update mode and can be configured by the IntelliFile 3
Configuration Software.
