Connecting the Battery and Setting Up the Charging
Base
1. Unpack the iremoteTS, charging base cradle and power supply
2. Attach the ferrite bead to the power supply (See
Figure 2
)
3. The battery is installed
inside the iremoteTS, but
not connected. Unscrew the
battery compartment door
and carefully inspect the
battery for any visible signs
of damage to its soft shell
case. If damage is found or
if the battery is dropped, it
should be replaced. Contact
Niles Customer Service for a
replacement. If no damage
is found, connect the battery
(See
Figure 3
)
4. Plug the 12V power supply into the iremoteTS charger base
cradle and connect to an unswitched AC outlet
5. Set the iremoteTS into
the charging base cradle
and let it charge until the
charging LED turns off (See
Figure 4 )
