NOTE : If you are an assigned careteam member, you have the ability to acknowledge alerts through the App
even if your alert notifications are disabled (refer to Notifications ).
Careteam
Because the NIGHTWATCH ® smart halter™ is a monitoring system for horse owners, trainers, breeders, and
veterinarians, we created an architecture that allows you to grant view-only access to an unlimited number of
people (Viewers). All Viewers must have their own NIGHTWATCH
® account (refer to Management & Viewers ).
Notifications
The notifications section of the App provides you and all users assigned to a horse to enable or disable alert
notifications and select preferences (text, call, email).
NOTE : Alert notifications are always disabled when a user is first assigned to a horse.
To enable alert notifications:
1. Click on “Careteam” to open settings and slide any or all of the 3 toggle switches to the right to enable
alert notification preference types (text, call, email). Go to account settings in the submenu ( ) to
change the phone number associated with your account at any time to receive texts and calls; you
cannot change the email associated with your account.
2. Select “Apply” to continue. NOTE : If you do NOT select “Apply” your settings will NOT be saved.
3. Confirm your alert notification preference and select “Yes” to continue.
4. Confirm preferred alert notifications are enabled.
