8.14.6.2 SFB finish size adjustment
1 . Display the menu screen (see 8.1.1 [p167]) .
2 . Press [SFB adjustment] on the menu
screen.
3 . Adjust the SFB finish size for the lens front
by the procedure below.
1 ) Press the SFB constant Front, Finish
field.
2 ) To increase the safety bevel width for
the lens front, decrease the parame-
ter value.
3 ) To decrease the safety bevel width
for the lens front, increase the
parameter value.
4 ) Enter the value with the numeric key-
pad, then press the Enter key .
4 . Adjust the SFB finish size for the lens rear
by the procedure below.
1 ) Press the SFB constant Rear, Finish
field.
2 ) To increase the safety bevel width for
the lens rear, increase the parameter
value.
3 ) To decrease the safety bevel width
for the lens rear, decrease the
parameter value.
4 ) Enter the value with the numeric key-
pad, then press the Enter key .
5 ) Press [Exit] to return to the layout
screen.
5 . Confirm the SFB finish size (see 8.14.6.1 [p238]) .
6 . Repeat adjustment until the safety bevel
widths for the lens front and rear are 0.3
±0.1 mm.
7 . After adjustment, perform the following.
1 ) Backing up the EEPROM data (See
8.19.1 [p284].)
2 ) SFB polish size check (See 8.14.6.3
[p240].)
