Advanced RAM mounting system:
When using the BikeCam with a motorbike, it is recommended to use a professional RAM mounting
system. The system is readily available to buy online, simply enter the given part numbers into your
search engine.
The base plate of the BikeCam has a threaded insert to attach the RAM fitting (PN: B-366U).
Follow the instructions supplied with the RAM fittings to complete the installation to ensure the best
results.
The recommended RAM mount system comprises of three parts, as shown below.
Notes:
- When using RAM mount PN: B-366U above, please use a 1/8” hex key to lower the protruding
thread to a minimum amount, in order to avoid damage to the base of the camera.
- To ensure a secure fitting between the BikeCam and the RAM ball fitting (PN: B-366U) a suitably
sized ‘star washer’ is required. This will prevent loosening of the fitting due to vibration.
