SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
In the State of Massachusetts, the following installation instructions apply:

Installations and repairs must be performed by a qualified or licensed contractor, plumber, or gasfitter qualified or
licensed by the State of Massachusetts.
·
If using a ball valve, it shall be a T-handle type.
·
A flexible gas connector, when used, must not exceed 3 feet.
CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS ONLY - WARNING:
This product and the fuels used to operate this product (liquid propane), and the products of combustion
of such fuels, can expose you to chemicals including benzene, which is known to the State of California
to cause cancer and reproductive harm.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN A FIRE
OR EXPLOSION THAT COULD CAUSE SERIOUS BODILY INJURY, DEATH, OR
PROPERTY DAMAGE.
YOUR GRILL WILL BE VERY HOT. NEVER LEAN OVER THE COOKING AREA
WHILE USING YOUR GRILL. DO NOT TOUCH COOKING SURFACES, GRILL
HOUSING, LID OR ANY OTHER GRILL PARTS WHILE THE GRILL IS IN
OPERATION, OR UNTIL THE GAS GRILL HAS COOLED DOWN AFTER USE.
DANGER: IF YOU SMELL GAS:
1.
Shut off gas to the appliance.
2.
Extinguish any open flame.
3.
Open lid.
4.
If odor continues, keep away from the appliance and immediately call your gas
supplier or local fire department.

Never operate this appliance unattended.
2.
Never operate this appliance within 3.05 m / 10 ft. of any structure, combustible material or other
gas cylinder.
3.
Never operate this appliance within 7.62 m / 25 ft. of any flammable liquid.
4.
Do not fill cooking vessel beyond maximum fill line.
5.
Heated liquids remain at scalding temperatures long after the cooking process. Never touch
cooking appliance until liquids have cooled to 45ºC / 115ºF or less.
6.
This appliance is not intended for and should never be used as a heater.
7.
If a fire should occur, keep away from the appliance and immediately call your fire department. Do
not attempt to extinguish an oil or grease fire with water.
WARNING:
1.
Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable liquids or vapors in the vicinity of this or any other
appliance.
2.
An LP cylinder not connected for use shall not be stored in the vicinity of this or any other
appliance.
3.
If the cord set is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord set available from the
manufacturer or its service agent.
