VeraSol LED Solar Simulator
(patented)
consisting of the
LSS-7120 LED Controller and LSH-7520 LED Head.


Safety Considerations
If any of the following symptoms exist, or are even suspected, remove the LSS-7120 and
LSH-7520 from service. Do not use the LSS-7120 or the LSH-7520 until trained service
personnel can verify safe operation.
 Visible damage
 Severe transport stress
 Prolonged storage under adverse conditions
 Failure to perform intended measurements or functions
If necessary, return the LSS-7120 and LSH-7520 to Oriel Instruments for service and repair
to ensure that safety features are maintained.
Initial Inspection
When you receive your VeraSol Solar Simulator verify that the following items were shipped with the
instrument:

LSS-7120 LED Controller
 Power Cord
 LSH-7520 LED Head
 CC720 Interconnect Cable
 LSH-7520 Vertical Adjustment Assembly
 Shipping Kit
 USB Thumb Drive (Includes Manual and Test Data)
 Screws for Assembly
 5/16” Ball Hex Driver
Note: The optical bread board and 90 degree LED Head mount adapter are sold separately.
