FXS lines marked with “*” have power down bypass feature in mixed-type interface cards. Once the
power breaks down, the FXS line numbered with m in these interfaces will be bypassed to FXO line
numbered with m-8, and so the terminal devices attached to FXS lines will be connected to matching
external lines attach to FXO ports

4.2
Wiring Scheme for MX120 Gateway
Each RJ45 socket has 8 pins. In compliance with the line pair of the Ethernet interface (T568B norm),
four pairs of analog telephone lines/trunk are leaded out, and their correspondence relation is shown
as the table below. Category 5 cable is used for connecting interface card port and the patch panel
frame. Standard RJ11 telephone line may be inserted into RJ45 socket for simple call test and the
telephone line/trunk is connected on the third pair of pins.
