The reference samples are also used in laser flash apparatus up to 2000°C. A graphite coating up
to 400°C is possible for all reference samples and therefore useable also for the LFA 447; usually
the maximum temperature of a reference sample is defined in the provided tables of properties
(cp, a …); with exception of ceramic reference samples inert atmosphere is necessary above
300°C.
