Introduction and Scope
The WG102-500, WGAP150 ProSafe 802.11g Wireless Access Point is a carrier-grade 802.11b/g
Wi-Fi access point with a centralized management system. It is a powerful solution for building
wireless networks for wireless Internet service, wholesalers and enterprises. Each wireless access
point is loaded with essential features such as Multiple SSID (virtual AP with distinct ESSID and
BSSID), VLAN, and a high-gain antenna.
One wireless access point can masquerade up to 16 different access points. Each virtual access
point can have its own security policy (such as WPA, WPA2, etc.) and authentication mechanism
(such as 802.1x, open, captive portal, etc), to facilitate building your wholesale network much
faster, easier and more cost-effective than ever before. A wireless access point comes with a
high-power Wi-Fi transmitter which greatly enhances coverage and performance.
This manual applies to the ProSafe 802.11g Wireless Access Point indoor model WG102-500,
WGAP150.
