WDS Settings
Wireless distributed system (WDS) provides a way to link APs together when wired cabling is not
preferable. WDS also extends the wireless coverage of the wireless network for the wireless
clients. There are two options available: Auto and Manual.
Authentication Method
The method to perform user authentication. This pulldown menu allows you to
make one of the following selections:

No Authentication
.
•
Plain Key Authentication
.
•
Shared Key Authentication
.
•
RADIUS Authentication
.
Authentication Key
The authentication key for regular and shared key authentication.
