Configure Hot-Swappable HDD Tray of Nuvo-3100VTC

Nuvo-3100VTC features a hot-swappable HDD tray on its front panel for easy HDD access.

The HDD tray can be configured as removable storage device so you can insert/remove a

HDD/SSD when system’s running, or configured as fixed storage device so you can install

OS. You should configure operating mode of HDD tray according to your application.

To enable/disable hot-swap for HDD tray:

1. When Nuvo-3100VTC boots up, press F2 to enter BIOS setup utility.

2. Go to [Advanced]

[IDE Configuration]. An option named [SATA Port HotPlug]

under [SATA Port on HDD Tray] is displayed.

3. If you need to configure the HDD tray as fixed storage device, please set the [SATA

Port HotPlug] to [Disabled].

4. If you need to configure the HDD tray as removable storage device, please set the

[SATA Port HotPlug] to [Enabled].
