2.4.5 Full-Size mSATA Connector (with SIM Socket)

Nuvo-3100 series provides three on-board mini-PCIe/mSATA connectors. The full-size

mSATA connector is come with mSATA and USB signals, as well as a SIM socket support.

In addition to mSATA SSD, you can also install a 3G/GPRS/GPS module to this connector

as most off-the-shelf 3G/GPRS/GPS modules require USB connectivity only. With the SIM

support, it’s capable to connect your system to Internet in wide territory through telecom

operator’s GPRS/3G network. A dedicated LED indicator on front panel presents the status

of wireless communication for this full-size mSATA socket.

Nuvo-3100 series also provides multiple SMA antenna apertures on the back panel for

antenna installation.
