The regulator is equipped with the function
. This function causes the heat pump to restart
after a critical failure subsides, such as restoring suf

cient system

ow. If autoreset is activated

times, it is
obvious that it is not a random defect. The heat pump then remains in a error condition and professional intervention
is required. The autoreset function can be restored in the
section, which should be done after
consulting a service organization.

xxx failure
Frost protection. The failure occurs when the outlet water temperature is lower than the safe limit. The default limit for
frost protection is

°
C. When the output water temperature is lower, the heat pump operation is interrupted until the output
water temperature reaches a safe level. In the meantime, bivalent operation starts up. When a safe temperature is reached,
the heat pump starts up after a

-minute delay.
This failure typically occurs during startup of the the system when the system is

lled with cold water from the water
mains.
Another typical situation when this failure occurs is temperature drop of the heating water during the defrosting process
of the outdoor unit. This can be due to two causes.

. Low heating water temperature (below

°
C) in the system when the heating water does not have enough energy to
defrost the outdoor unit.

. The second possible cause is reduced

ow of heating water through the heat pump, for example due to clogged heating
water

lter.
If the frost protection fault occurs repeatedly, contact your service organization.

xxx failure
Insuf

cient

ow. Failure of insuf

cient heating water

ow occurs when the current water

ow is lower than required. The
required

ow rate is directly dependent on the actual performance of the outdoor unit, that is, the higher the outdoor unit
performance, the higher the heating water

ow rate. This is also the reason why the fault may appear to be haphazard, for
example, only when the hot water tank is being heated, when high power and hence high heating water

ow are required.
A typical cause of

ow failure is clogging of the heating system with impurities. The second possible cause is that the
heating system contains a constricted spot. This spot with insuf

cient cross-section (e.g. control valve) affects the total

ow, even if the cross-section of all other heating system parts is satisfactory. The cause of accidental and short-term
failures may also be occurrence of air in the heating system or low pressure of the heating water.
In all these cases, the intervention of a service organization is needed to locate and remove the cause of the fault.

xxx failure
Defect of the outdoor unit. The outdoor unit signals a failure condition. If this fault occurs only once, it is advisable to try
to restart the entire device by turning off all heat pump circuit breakers and turning them on again (restarting). If the outdoor
unit is still faulty after the user interface is restarted, it is necessary to call a service organization.

xxx failure
Low water pressure. If the pressure in the heating system is less than

.8 bar, there is a risk of damage to the circulation
pump and therefore the equipment is put out of operation.
The usual cause is leakage of heating water. The expansion vessel may also be damaged or air may have leaked from
its bag. To eliminate the fault, increase the water pressure in the heating system to

.

-

.

bar.
If the drop occurs repeatedly, you must contact a service organization.

xxx failure
MX communication module temperature sensor defective. This defect means that the indoor unit heat exchanger tem-
perature sensor shows values out of range and is obviously defective. For this reason, the operation of the heat pump is
stopped as it may be damaged due to loss of information about the heat exchanger temperature.
