System Configuration

BIOS Recovery

BIOS recovery jumper block JP15 is a three-pin jumper block. Descriptions for each JP15
jumper setting are provided in the following table.

BIOS Recovery Jumper Block JP15 Settings

Function

Jumper Pins

Normal

Factory setting. Sets the system for normal operation.
The BIOS uses current configuration information and
passwords at power on.

Recovery

Open for 10
seconds

To enable BIOS recovery for a corrupted system,
remove the jumper. Wait 10 seconds. Replace the
jumper on pins 1-2.

Safe BIOS Mode

2-3

Restores Safe BIOS settings as the default BIOS
settings and loads the BIOS Setup at power on.

Rear USB Device Wakeup

Rear USB device wakeup jumper block JP1 is a three-pin jumper block for enabling or disabling
the rear USB port. Descriptions for each JP1 jumper setting are provided in the following table.
