RELOCATION AND STORAGE OF DEVICE EXPANSION UNIT
Ask your sales agent to remove the device expansion unit from the rack when relocating
or storing the unit.
WARNING
Observe the following instructions to use the Device Expansion Unit safely.
Failure to follow these instructions may result in death or serious personal injury.
See the description on pages vi through xvii for details.

Do not disassemble, repair, or alter the Device Expansion Unit.

Disconnect the power plug before working with the Device Expansion Unit.

Failure to follow these instructions may cause personal burn or injury and/or
physical damages. See the description on pages vi through xvii for details.

Do not lift the Device Expansion Unit only by yourself.

Make sure to complete cable and option installations.

Do not install the Device Expansion Unit leaving the cover removed.

Do not pinch your finger with mechanical components.

Take note on a high temperature.
IMPORTANT:

If the Device Expansion Unit needs to be relocated
or stored due to a change in the floor layout to a
great extent, contact your sales agent.

Make a backup copy of the important data saved in
hard disks.

Carry the Device Expansion Unit carefully so that
excess shocks may not be applied to hard disks if
the chassis includes the hard disks.
1. See the section "Pulling Out from Rack" to take out the Device Expansion Unit
from the rack. Make sure to work with another persons.
2. Package the Device Expansion Unit securely so that the chassis may not be
damaged or given excess shocks and/or vibrations.
