1. Installing Internal Optional Devices

Chapter 2  Preparations 

4.  Remove the screw, and remove RAID 

Controller bracket. 

 

 

 

5.  Remove the two screws from RAID 

Controller, and remove PCI bracket. 

 

 

6.  Install the controller bracket you have 

removed in Step 4 to RAID Controller 

with two screws you have removed in 

Step 5. 

 

 

7.  Install a RAID Controller to the riser 

card.  

When installing the card, position the 

terminal part of the PCI card to the riser 

card slot and insert it. 

 

Important  When connecting FBU control cable to RAID Controller and FBU, be sure to 

mate the black marks on FBU control cable connector and on RAID Controller 

connector. If the cable is connected conversely, the component might be 

damaged. 

 

8. 

Attach the RAID Controller to the rise card.  
For how to install RAID Controller, refer to 

Chapter 2 (1.13 PCI Card)
