Chapter 2 Preparations

Secure the optical disk drive with a screw

you removed in Step 3.

Insert the cage installed optical disk drive

until it locks with clicking sound.

Connect the cable to optical disk drive.

Removal

To remove an optical disk drive, reverse the installation procedure above.

Important To maintain the cooling effect in the server, install the dummy cover in the vacant

slot.
