System Alarm Messages
4-
The alarm messages for the various devices in Express5800/320Ma 3.2 GHz, 3.6 GHz,
and Dual-Core systems are presented in several tables in this chapter.
•
Tables
4-1
through
4-7
list only the numeric alarm IDs (for example, 30100, 30101,
and so on) for device state alarms and threshold alarms related to specific devices;
for example, DIMMs, PCI slots, and so on.
•
Table 4-8
contains the text of the messages corresponding to the alarm IDs listed
in the preceding tables.
•
Table 4-9
presents ftGateway alarm messages.
•
Table 4-10
presents miscellaneous numeric alarm IDs, messages, and their default
destinations. Some of these messages are not related to particular devices.
When reading the alarm messages shown in
Table 4-8
, replace dev with the
appropriate device name from tables
4-1
through
4-7
. When the alarm message is sent,
the %1 item is replaced with the device ID of the component. For example, alarm ID
30101 appears as
CPU board '2' broken
.
For NEC Technical Support destination, the message is sent to NEC Technical Support
or your authorized service provider only if you have a service agreement. The message
goes to an administrator’s pager or email only if configured to do so.
