4-100 Configuring Your Server

Clearing CMOS Data

See the section "Preparing for Installation and Removal" in Chapter 9 to prepare

Remove the left side cover (see Chapter 9).

Change jumper switch setting from "Protect" to "Clear".

After three seconds later, reinstall the jumper.

Reassemble the server and then press the POWER switch to turn on the server.

Press

during POST to run the BIOS Setup utility, and configure the mother board

again.

Clearing Password

See the section "Preparing for Installation and Removal" in Chapter 9 to prepare
