When the DIMM is inserted into the socket, the levers are automatically
closed.

Gently push the levers to the upright position until they engage the notches in
the DIMM.

Install the removed components.

Turn on the power of the server. Then make sure that no error messages appear
in the POST.
If an error message appears, write down the message and review the error
message list in
“POST Error Messages ” on page 5-41
.

Start SETUP to select "Advanced"
→
"Memory Configuration" on menus.
Then make sure that the status of the additional DIMM is set to "Normal" (see
“BIOS Setup Utility” on page 3-3
).
10.
When Windows 2003/2000 is used, set the paging file size to the recommended
value or larger.
Installed memory capacity × 1.5 for Windows 2003/2000 (See Chapter 5.)
