Installation and Maintenance
VESA Mounting
This monitor is compliant with the VESA Mounting Interface Standard, with 100 x 100 mm and 200 x 100 mm MIS
hole mount patterns, suitable for stand or boom mounting.
Warning:
Mounting bracket screws must be securely tightened. Failure to properly secure the mounting
bracket to the display could be hazardous.
Cable Cover Installation
1. Connect power, control, and video cables before installing the cable cover.
2. Align the cable cover to the cable well recess on the back of the display.
3. Position cables under the cut-out, and slide the cover forward into the recess until tabs on the bottom edge
click into place.
Cleaning Instructions
Prior to cleaning, the monitor must be turned OFF and disconnected from the power source.
Clean the front glass and enclosure with a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with distilled water, or an ammonia-
based glass cleaner, or any of the following disinfectants:
Warning:
Do not allow liquids to enter the interior of the monitor, as severe damage to the unit can
result. Do not use solvents, abrasive detergents, or chemical cleaning cloths.
Maintenance Requirements
This monitor does not require any major maintenance other than periodic cleaning of the front glass and
enclosure.
Image Retention Notice
Caution:
A fixed (constant) image displayed on the monitor for a long period of time can result in image
retention. Avoid leaving a fixed image on the monitor, or turn the monitor off when it is not in use.
Troubleshooting
Ghosting in Characters
Ghosting in characters could be caused by an incorrect Sharpness setting. If the Sharpness parameter has
been adjusted, try resetting it to the default value 50. See “Picture Menu” on page 8.
Black Screen
Power the display off and on. The logo screen appearance when starting up indicates the display is working
properly. Check to confirm that the power management feature (DPMS) is disabled. A “Searching” message in
the lower right hand corner indicates that a video source has not been detected.
