LaserSpeed Pro 8500-4 Instruction Handbook: Interfacing with the LS8500-4

4.2.1

DB25 (Male) Connector

The 25-pin interface port contains pins which deliver the quadrature pulse outputs, RS-232 serial communica-
tions, safety interlock signals, and the 24 V supply required to power the gauge. Several inputs are available
for operation of the instrument. The connector is a standard 25-Pin male D-Sub connector. The connector is
shown below looking at the gauge's rear panel with the gauge base plate down.
