5.5.1 Plain cards
Cards are normally placed so the front of the
card is facing up and the top of the card is at the
rear of the hopper.
5.5.2 Magnetic Strip Cards
When loading magnetic strip cards, they are
normally placed with the mag strip down and
towards the rear of the hopper.
5.5.3 Smart Cards
Smart Cards are normally loaded with the top of
the card at rear of hopper with the front of the
card facing up which places the smartcard chip
towards left side of hopper.

! Caution:
Never place fingers into the Hoppers when cards are being produced.
Always
pause
operation before adding or removing cards from the
Input or the Stacker hoppers. (Press “Wait” button on front panel).
Moving parts, in the base of the input and stacker hoppers, can cause
physical injury to fingers if care is not taken.
5.6:
Unloading Cards
When cards are correctly personalized the are placed into the output Stacker on the left side of
the unit. If a card is rejected during processing it is allowed to fall into the reject area under the
output Stacker. The reject area holds about 15 cards. Monitor the reject area. Do not allow
cards to build up here as they could jam the stacking process.
