Creating Layouts
4.6.4:
Rotation
The “Rotation” parameter allows the
D-40
to print in any of the four orientations in reference to
the “X” location. These are: horizontal, vertical, reverse horizontal, and reverse vertical.
4.6.5:
Card Side
The “Card Side” parameter specifies what side of the card the printing is to occur on. The
choices are “TOP” or “BOTTOM”.
4.6.6:
Transfer
The “Transfer” parameter is used to identify a field as the source of data to be transferred or
the destination to which data is transferred. However, in order to transfer data, the source
must be identified first. Regardless, when a source or destination is chosen, another sub-
menu will appear. (Refer to Figure 4-9, and Figure 4-10.) The name of the source and
destination must be 4 characters long, and must match in order for the data to be sent from
the source to the destination. If no data is to be transferred, however, this parameter can be
turned off.
