4.6.1: Font Name
“Font Name” identifies the font to be used in this field. The available fonts are listed. These
may be determined by pressing the
[SPACEBAR]
until the desired font name is displayed.
The fonts displayed are those that are resident in memory (
e.g. Simplex, Blocco, OCR
).
4.6.2:
X & Y Coordinates
The next two parameters – “X & Y coordinates” – work together to determine the starting points
of the field in inches. They are referenced in relation to an imaginary point (
origin
) in the upper
left hand corner of the card. The placement of the field (
along with font size
) affects the number
of characters, which may be printed. The “X & Y coordinates” refers to its baseline position.
4.6.3:
Justify
The “Justify” parameter provides a point of reference for the “X coordinate”. The selections
are: Left ,Center, or Right. This determines if the characters are to be placed to the left, right,
or centered on the X coordinate.
