Use the
Rule Explorer
window as follows:
• In the
Time of Year
section, set the start (From:) and end (To:) dates for the rule.
Start to end dates must be less than one year apart. Rules are automatically repeated
every 365 days (366 days in a leap year) such that schedules are the same year-to-
year. Therefore, a single rule cannot span more than 365 days (366 days in a leap
year).
• In the
Days
section, select the days of the week on which the rule will apply. Rules
are automatically repeated for every day indicated in the Day section during the
time frame outlined in the Time of Year section.
• In the
Time of Day
section, set the (From:) time (hours, minutes and seconds) for
the rule. Rules take effect at the (From:) time on every day scheduled per the
Days
and
Time of Year
sections, and will remain effective until another rule is applied or
the transmitter’s settings are manually changed (remote or local).
• If the rule is to repeat during a single day, use the (Repeat:) field to indicate how
often the rule should take effect each day of the schedule.
• The (To:) time in the
Time of Day
section is ONLY applicable when the (Repeat:)
field is non-zero, and sets when the repeats will stop on the
Time of Day
schedule
(see “Scheduler Rule Example 2” on page 2-68 ). If you are trying to schedule a
single event to occur at a particular time each day (or on a single day) and have left
the (Repeat:) field blank, the event will trigger at the (From:) time, and the (To:)
time is irrelevant.
• If the
Self Delete
box is checked, the event will never repeat after the first time it
occurs (specified by the (From:) fields in the
Time of Year
and
Time of Day
sections),
regardless of whether the values in the
Time of Year, Days
and
Time of Day
sections
outlined above indicate repetition.
• Use the drop-down menu to select the preset (e.g., Current Settings) for the rule.
The preset’s power, mode and frequency are displayed below the preset.
• Click the
Save
button to store the rule in the scheduler or the
Cancel
button to
return to the
Scheduler
page.
