Repair Procedures

From the side access panel, locate and remove the kep nuts (x2) that secure the

front control access panel assembly to the front column (see Figure 6.1). From

inside the blower access upper cabinet, remove the kep nut attached to the top

of the control panel.

To prevent ESD, attach an electrical grounding strap to yourself and to a

non-painted metallic surface in the upper cabinet of the Drier, such as where the

blower assemblies are located.

Pull out the panel assembly and disconnect the wires.

Remove the six nuts and plastic spacers from the control panel PCB.

To install the new control panel PCB:

Insert the six nuts and plastic spacers in the new control panel PCB.

Connect the wires to the panel assembly (see the wiring diagram on page A-1).

Secure the panel assembly with the kip nuts to the top and front of the

access panel.

Insert the front cover.

5

Tighten the screws inside the Drier door.

6

Attach the side access panel, then secure all the tray brackets and trays in

the Drier.

7

Plug in the power cord, then press the power switch to the

ON

(|) position.

8

Test the device for proper operation (see page 2-4).
