25.2.2.3 Settings for the MASCHINE STUDIO Controller

 

In the 

Preferences

 window the page for the MASCHINE STUDIO controller offers following set-

tings:

Section/control

Description

Pads section

Sensitivity

 slider

Changes the sensitivity of the pads.

Touch Sensitivity section

Knobs

 slider

Adjusts the touch sensitivity of Knobs 1–8. The values range
from 1 to 8. At low sensitivity values (slider to the left), you
will need to apply a stronger pressure on Knobs 1–8 to send
the MIDI message. At high sensitivity values (slider to the
right), a softer pressure on the knobs will already send the
MIDI message.
The current sensitivity value is indicated by the number left of
the slider. Additionally, this number provides a visual
feedback that helps you quickly find the sensitivity that best

fits your needs — see below for more info.

Display section

Brightness

 slider

Changes the backlight of the displays.

All these settings can also be adjusted on your MASCHINE STUDIO controller: the pad
sensitivity and the knobs’ touch sensitivity are found in the Settings display mode and
the  brightness  setting  is  found  in  the  Calibration  display  mode  (see  sections
