Understanding the Measurement Results File

The mmWave OTA Validation Test Software saves your measurement results as a CSV file
that you can load into the mmWave OTA Validation Visualizer to visualize the measurements.

Refer to the following list for details about the values of each column in the measurement
results file:
•

Azimuth

—The specified azimuth.

•

Elevation

—The specified elevation.

•

Context

— The value of this column is

<none>

, as it is reserved for future use.

•

Frequency

—Frequency in the test.

•

BeamNumber

—A customized value based on the antenna plugin.

•

Polarization

—The reference plane of the antenna. The value of this column is

(Horizontal),

(Vertical), or

(Combined).

Each of the remaining columns in the measurement results file correspond to a specific
measurement.

Measurement results are organized into two different sections in the CSV file:

Non-Spatial

Data

and

Spatial Data

. The Non-Spatial Data section includes measurement data that is not

specific to azimuth or elevation angles, and Spatial Data includes measurement data that is
valid at different azimuth and elevation angles.

Refer to the following tables for more information about each measurement.
